In the Summer of 2019 I applied to an open call for artists and was selected to paint a 40’ x 12’ mural at MacArthur Center in Norfolk, Va. The mural received so much positive feedback from staff and passers by, that a few weeks later I was invited to return and paint another mural - this time 28’ x 12’. I used the opportunity to experiment with typography, and combined aerosol and acrylic to create the two designs. Both designs were installed over a week, without a projector .
